CROWS RWS (M153)
For the last 20 years KONGSBERG has delivered more than 20.000 PROTECTOR Remote Weapon Systems to a total of 28 nations. This includes the major US program Commonly Remotely Operated Weapon Station (CROWS). CROWS is a US Army Program of Record for acquisition and sustainment of Remote Weapon Stations for all U.S. Army vehicle programs. The M153 Common Remotely Operated Weapon Station (CROWS) is a stabilized mount that contains a sensor suite and fire control software. It allows on-the-move target acquisition and first-burst target engagement. Capable of target engagement under day and night conditions, the CROWS sensor suite includes a daytime video camera, thermal camera and laser rangefinder. CROWS supports the MK19 Grenade Machine Gun, M2 .50 Caliber Machine Gun, M240B Medium Machine Gun and M249 Squad Automatic Weapon (SAW). The system has been integrated onto more than 20 platforms, from the High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV) to the M1A2 Abrams tank.

About Resin
Ordinary plastic modelling glue is not suitable for resin. The best glue to use is a quality Super Glue (Cyanoacrylate), Gorilla Glue (Micro Precise) or Resin Epoxy Glue.
Resin cures in UV light, continual exposure to UV light will the resin more brittle, Due the nature of curing resin, some smaller parts will be more brittle and some of the larger parts slightly softer (hardly noticeable). There is also the slight possibility of fine layer lines showing, but these are hard to see with the naked eye.
This model is made of resin and therefore not suitable for young children or animals.
