Sten MkVI (MK6)
The Sten Mk6 is a suppressed version of the Mk V. The Mk6 is the heaviest version due to the added weight of the suppressor, as well as using a wooden pistol grip and stock. The silenced Stens were extremely effective and while they could not be fired in fully automatic beyond short bursts, if fire was kept to single or two round bursts then the weapon avoided serious overheating and fatigue. The Sten Mk5 (sometimes written Sten MkV) was really the Cadillac of the Sten series. It was designed in 1943, and featured a full wooden buttstock patterned after the No4 Enfield rifle, as well as a front sight abductor bayonet lugs for the Enfield. It has a wooden pistol grip as well (and early production examples also had a wooden vertical front grip). It was mechanically the same as the earlier Stens, simply with the fire control group moved forward to fit the pistol grip. The Mk5 was really much better handling than earlier models, and was well liked, seeing combat as early as the invasion of Normandy in June 1944.

About Resin
Ordinary plastic modelling glue is not suitable for resin. The best glue to use is a quality Super Glue (Cyanoacrylate), Gorilla Glue (Micro Precise) or Resin Epoxy Glue.
Resin cures in UV light, continual exposure to UV light will the resin more brittle, Due the nature of curing resin, some smaller parts will be more brittle and some of the larger parts slightly softer (hardly noticeable). There is also the slight possibility of fine layer lines showing, but these are hard to see with the naked eye.
This model is made of resin and therefore not suitable for young children or animals.
